Hide Your Car Keys

I'm on a Saturday midday shift this time, and a man comes up. I recognize him as a regular in the evening when I'm at the drive-thru.

Me: I recognize you! Decided to come in the store this time?

Him: Well, I've been drinking all weekend, so I thought I'd walk.

Me: Aaahh...

Him: 12 crunchy tacos to go?

You must work in a classy part of town.

Oh and how bad is it to be a regular at a Mexigong?

Of course I work in a classy part of town! Everything about my life is classy!

but to answer your question...yes. It's pretty bad.

the worse thing about working in fast food is the lack of tips. Although I suspect your clientele would be more likely to top off your cup than leave some cash.

my job won't let me accept tips, I think it is to keep us from getting depressed at the size of the tips.
Me:" that's 1.98"
them:"here's $2.00, keep the rest as a tip."
Me"golly you're so kind someday I wanna grow up to be JUST like you!"

LH: In some cases, a top off of a cup would be a welcome distraction (or maybe an offering at the porcelain throne)

AL: If they let us accept tips, they could pay us less and just say that if we are good enough, we will make it up in tips. Unfortunately, we have regulars like Catheter Carl, and I think they realize that we would be less than kind all around if there were a direct pay ratio to the king of smile wattage we expressed.

Ah, yes. Definitely food for the inebriated. (MexiGong now? EXCELLENT.)

Lol...MexiGong was a gift from Funder and is it not a perfect fit? I even have a little logo all thought out for it.

never should have said that, because now I am demanding to see the logo!

*sigh* guess I'll have to scribble up something for y'alls amusement. I'll float this teaser until I get to it. Not only is it a gong, it symbolizes other things...like tortillas and a bean spoon.

I LIKE IT. Great teaser..
